Shibori is the art of folding, binding, clamping and knotting to compress fabric to create a resist. In a 3 hour workshop you will learn how to prepare a indigo dye vat and some basic Itajame and Arashi Shibori techniques. You will experiment on test pieces and then create a finished silk/cotton scarf or linen table runner to take home. Shibori has no failures, only success!

This workshop will be held at Mullewa Hall next to the CRC building in Mullewa from 10.00 to 4.00pm. Includes all materials, fabric and morning tea.

Please wear non precious clothing and shoes.
